Assurance at every stage of your renovation

Insured, certified work, payments tied to signed-off stages and an 18-month workmanship guarantee.

The company that builds it guarantees it

Your guarantee comes from Indesign, not from a contractor you were introduced to. The team that designed and installed your renovation remains responsible for it after handover.

That responsibility is backed by insurance, independent certification of electrical work and an aftercare team you can contact directly.

18-month workmanship guarantee

Every room we complete is covered by an 18-month workmanship guarantee from Indesign. If something covered needs attention, you simply contact our aftercare team with a photo or short video. We usually respond within 48 hours and arrange a visit where needed.

Product faults, handled through us

Some faults sit with the product rather than the installation. For anything we supplied, you still come to us. We assess the issue, deal with the manufacturer and coordinate what happens next.

Payments tied to progress

Insured and certified work

Documented at handover

You pay in stages as the work progresses, and each stage is signed off by you and your project manager before the next payment is due.

We hold £5 million public liability cover. Electrical work is independently certified, and any gas work is done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

You receive the documents for your renovation, including electrical certificates where applicable and your 18-month guarantee, for your records.

Built to stand behind the work

Assurance depends on more than a written guarantee. It depends on the track record, systems and aftercare structure to honour it.

Our work across London homes has shaped how we inspect, document and support each completed project.

The service is almost more of a product, in the sense that you see an initial digital design, and you pretty much pay a defined amount and get more or less exactly what you expected.

Common renovation questions

Answers on pricing, timing, scope and how your project is handled.

Who fits a replacement if a supplied product is faulty?

We deal with the manufacturer and arrange for the replacement product or part to be sent to you. As the fault lies with the product rather than our workmanship, fitting it is charged separately, with preferential rates for existing clients.

When does the guarantee start, and what affects it?

Your 18-month guarantee runs from practical completion, when the work is finished and ready to use. It stays in place for the full period, provided the work hasn’t been altered by someone else or affected by structural movement.

Is there a charge if an issue isn’t covered?

We normally review photos or a short video first, so you know whether an issue is likely to be covered before anyone visits. If we do visit and it falls outside the guarantee, a call-out charge applies.

What isn’t covered by the guarantee?

The guarantee covers the workmanship on everything we install. It’s there for faults in our work, rather than everyday wear and tear, accidental damage, maintenance such as limescale, alterations made by others or items you supplied yourself. Faults with products we supplied are handled through the manufacturer’s guarantee, which we manage for you.

What if hidden conditions are uncovered?

Some conditions only become visible after existing finishes are removed. Your project manager records the issue, explains the available options and confirms any effect on price or programme by email. Work requiring a decision proceeds only after your approval.
