Products are ordered early to suit the programme, stored until they're needed and delivered in stages, so nothing holds up the work or crowds your home.
More people on site doesn't mean a better result. We plan the number of trades at each stage around the work, not the headcount.

If you're staying in the property, we phase the work so parts of the home stay usable. If you only have one WC, it stays working throughout, and we provide temporary kitchen worktops to keep disruption to a minimum.

What affects full home
renovation costs in London?
How much of the property is included
Cost changes with the floor area, the number of rooms and whether the work covers one floor or several. More rooms also means more trades to sequence, which affects the length of the programme as well as the price.

Older properties, particularly period homes, often have ageing services and uneven surfaces that need correcting before new work begins. Some of this only becomes clear once existing finishes are removed.

How far the existing property is being altered
Moving doorways, kitchens or bathrooms to new positions adds work beyond replacing finishes, because services and adjoining rooms are affected too. Whether a bathroom or WC can move easily often depends on where the existing drainage runs, which the survey confirms.

When do product decisions need to be made?
As early as possible. Bespoke items and some materials have long lead times, so the main product choices are agreed during design, before the programme is fixed.
How long does a full home renovation take?
As a guide, around 19 to 24 weeks from design to completion. Design takes three to four weeks, followed by preparation, the main infrastructure work, installation and finishing. Your exact programme depends on the size of the property and is set out when your design is approved.
Do you carry out extensions or structural work?
No. We focus on internal renovation, from individual rooms to the whole property. We don’t carry out extensions, loft conversions or structural additions.
Do I need to move out during a full home renovation?
Not necessarily. It depends on the size of the property and how much disruption you’re comfortable with. If you stay, we phase the work so parts of the home stay usable, keep a WC working if it’s your only one, and provide temporary kitchen worktops.
