As early as possible. Bespoke items and some materials have long lead times, so the main product choices are agreed during design, before the programme is fixed.

As a guide, around 19 to 24 weeks from design to completion. Design takes three to four weeks, followed by preparation, the main infrastructure work, installation and finishing. Your exact programme depends on the size of the property and is set out when your design is approved.

No. We focus on internal renovation, from individual rooms to the whole property. We don’t carry out extensions, loft conversions or structural additions.

Not necessarily. It depends on the size of the property and how much disruption you’re comfortable with. If you stay, we phase the work so parts of the home stay usable, keep a WC working if it’s your only one, and provide temporary kitchen worktops.

We deal with the manufacturer and arrange for the replacement product or part to be sent to you. As the fault lies with the product rather than our workmanship, fitting it is charged separately, with preferential rates for existing clients.

Your 18-month guarantee runs from practical completion, when the work is finished and ready to use. It stays in place for the full period, provided the work hasn’t been altered by someone else or affected by structural movement.

We normally review photos or a short video first, so you know whether an issue is likely to be covered before anyone visits. If we do visit and it falls outside the guarantee, a call-out charge applies.

The guarantee covers the workmanship on everything we install. It’s there for faults in our work, rather than everyday wear and tear, accidental damage, maintenance such as limescale, alterations made by others or items you supplied yourself. Faults with products we supplied are handled through the manufacturer’s guarantee, which we manage for you.

Yes. We work with clients living overseas who need their renovation fully managed from start to finish, and your first consultation can take place online.

A fully managed renovation service, not a marketplace putting you in touch with contractors. Our designers, surveyors, project managers and installation teams handle every stage, so one company is responsible from start to finish.

No. A few references or a sense of what isn’t working is enough to start. Our design team develops the layout and specification with you.

A bathroom usually takes around two and a half weeks on site and a kitchen three to four weeks. A full home renovation typically takes 19 to 24 weeks from design to completion.

Report the issue directly to Indesign, normally with photos or video so it can be assessed. Most enquiries receive a response within 48 hours. Workmanship covered by the 18-month guarantee is arranged by us; for supplied-product faults, Indesign deals with the manufacturer on your behalf.

Some conditions only become visible after existing finishes are removed. Your project manager records the issue, explains the available options and confirms any effect on price or programme by email. Work requiring a decision proceeds only after your approval.

Protection requirements are recorded during the survey and installed before work begins. This covers the working room and any access or storage areas used by the team. The site is cleaned at the end of each working day.

Bathroom projects are usually updated daily or every other day. Kitchen projects receive two check-ins each week. Full home projects receive updates at intervals suited to the programme and its milestones. Your project manager can use email or an agreed messaging app.

The initial design is presented for discussion before anything is ordered. Two full revisions are included, allowing the layout, products or finishes to be adjusted before approval. Changes requested after approval are reviewed against their effect on price and programme.

Every renovation has a dedicated project manager who coordinates the fitting teams, deliveries, programme and communication. Decisions and agreed changes are recorded as the project progresses.

The price becomes fixed once the design, product specification and installation scope have been agreed. If hidden conditions are discovered after work begins, the work is paused, documented and priced as a variation before it continues.

No. Our design and supply work forms part of a renovation delivered by Indesign. We do not provide standalone interior design or product supply services.

Yes. We can consider installation-only projects where the design, products and scope are sufficiently defined. We review the information and supplied products before confirming that the installation is suitable for us to undertake.

Indesign can manage the design, product supply, installation and coordination of bathrooms, kitchens and full home renovations. The agreed proposal sets out the products, materials and work included in each individual project.

An Indesign kitchen renovation includes the design, supply and installation of the whole room. Cabinetry, worktops, appliances and finishes are planned together, with a dedicated project manager handling ordering, deliveries and the installation team. You make the choices about your kitchen; we take responsibility for bringing it all together.

We work with selected German kitchen manufacturers that closely manage each stage of production. Our selection balances the quality of raw materials and finish with the breadth of the range, including cabinet sizes, door styles and storage options. This gives us flexibility to plan the kitchen around your room without compromising the standard of its construction.

Every Indesign kitchen includes an 18-month workmanship guarantee. Supplied products carry their manufacturers’ guarantees. If a problem arises after completion, contact Indesign. Our team handles workmanship issues and deals directly with manufacturers over faults with products we supplied.

A dedicated project manager coordinates the installation team, deliveries and work on site. They bring decisions to you when your input is needed and confirm key agreements by email. You can focus on the choices that matter to you while they organise the work.

Kitchen installation typically takes 3–4 weeks. Allow 8–11 weeks for the overall process, including survey, planning, design and manufacture.

Your first call or studio meeting gives you an idea of likely cost, based on the kitchen you want and the work involved. Our pricing framework accounts for the proposed scope and specification, so you can judge the likely spend before committing to design. A fixed price follows once the design, products and installation scope are agreed.

A like-for-like bathroom renovation with Indesign starts at £17,500, including VAT. That covers a bathroom of up to 3.5 m², kept in the same layout, with one bath or one shower and standard-size tiles. A larger room, layout changes, smaller or patterned tiles, added features and the products you choose all increase it. You get your own figure at your first appointment, based on our last 100 completed projects, and a fixed price once the design is agreed.

Every renovation has a dedicated project manager who coordinates the fitting team, deliveries and day-to-day programme. They remain your main contact throughout the installation, providing regular updates and helping you make decisions at the right stage.

Indesign plans, supplies and installs the agreed bathroom. Our scope can cover strip-out, site logistics, waste removal, plumbing and electrical work, preparation, waterproofing, tiling, fitting, testing and handover. The design, products and installation work are set out in the proposal so you can see exactly what is included.

Over 80% of our bathrooms reach practical completion in two and a half weeks on site. The survey, design and product lead times come first, and we set the start date once every product is confirmed in stock.

Usually, although some changes offer better value than others. Moving a toilet depends heavily on the existing soil pipe, while basins and showers may offer more flexibility. We compare the usable space gained with the additional work before recommending a layout.

Every project is priced against its approved design, with the design, products and installation set out in your proposal. The price is fixed once the scope is agreed. If you ask for changes, or hidden conditions come to light once work starts, any extra work is priced and agreed with you before it goes ahead.

For bathroom and kitchen renovations, most clients remain in their home throughout. We schedule works to minimise disruption and maintain access to essential facilities wherever possible. For full home renovations, we discuss this during the consultation and plan around your specific situation.

Our installation slots typically book four to eight weeks ahead. Design and survey work begins before that, so the earlier you make contact the more flexibility you have over your start date. We recommend getting in touch as soon as you have a rough idea of what you want to do.
